Our Parenting World, Gor Gor and Di Di were invited by InterContinental Hotels & Resorts to its Planet Trekkers Children’s Dinner Party to attend the official launch of its new menu cater exclusively just for the kids.
The menu is co-created by award winning chef Theo Randall and child food expert and best-selling author Annabel Karmel MBE. Young explorers can embark on an journey of food discovery while enjoying a nutritionally balanced meal.
Bruce Ryde (Director of Brand Management, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, AMEA) and Phil Broad (Vice President, F&B, IHG, AMEA) were also present at the Dinner party to introduce its new menu that is designed just for children.
The InterContinental® Planet Trekkers Menu is available in InterContinental Hotels & Resorts across Asia, Middle East and Africa and will be available globally by the end of July 2014.
Buffet Spread Set-up with a selection of Small Plates, Big Plates and Desserts from the new InterContinental Planet Trekkers Menu for its important guests, children to try out the dishes.
Some of the Big Plates dishes are Chinese Fried Rice with Chicken, A Light Fettuccine Pasta, Spaghetti Bolognese with Hide & Seek Vegetables, Wok & Roll Pad Thai etc.

Gor Gor and Di Di called this “Happy Face Tomato Soup”. It is actually called Smiley Tomato Soup.

How’s the food?
Gor Gor is a big fan of pasta and he is an expert in tasting the food especially when comes to any pasta dishes. It’s so delicious and he simply loves the dishes he has tried.
Di Di loves the food too and some of his favourite are the Fried Rice with Chicken, Spaghetti Bolognese with Hide & Seek Vegetables, Wok & Roll Pad Thai etc.

InterContinental Singapore is the first IHG hotel globally to host the Planet Trekkers Children’s Dinner for an afternoon of food, fun and games that the whole family can enjoy.

Mr Bottle, the popular magician was also at the party to bring joy and laughter to the children. Gor Gor and Di Di were fascinated with Mr Bottle’s magic and were trying to figure out his cards trick. Hmm …. how did Mr Bottle do it?
Here, we would like to thank the kind and lovely organisers and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts for inviting us to an enjoyable and delicious dinner party. It is very thoughtful of the hotel to come up with nutritious and yummy menu designed just for kids. We know a lot of children like us would appreciate this!
