Get ready for A Mega Despicable Summer as Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa celebrates the upcoming film release of Illumination’s Despicable Me 4! From 1 July to 11 August 2024, guests of all ages can expect a summer of mischief with the Minions, from Mega Minions inflatables and a first-ever Minions flash mob, to an exciting new show as well as meet and greets with all-new as well as fan-favourite characters. Also, this summer, Universal Studios Singapore will welcome the brand new UNIVRS store, where visitors can get their hands on exclusive merchandise inspired by popular Universal characters.
Strike a Pose with the Mega Minions (New!) and Gru’s Family
Towering above New York Street are the Mega Minions, each with their own unlikely superpower. Guests can take fun snaps with larger-than-life inflatables of the world’s newest and most mischievous superheroes – laser blasting Mega Mel, super strong Mega Dave, flying Mega Gus, and indestructible Mega Jerry. And there’s more! Visitors can also capture a piece of movie magic with Gru’s family – Gru, Lucy, and the girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes – at the Lagoon Stage.
Get Groovin’ with Minionvasion (New!)
The Anti-Villain League (AVL) Minions are taking over New York Street with their Minionvasion flash mob! Guests can watch as they get into formation and launch into a high energy dance performance, topped off with a meet and greet at the New York Public Library.
Save the World with the Anti-Villain League in Mission: MEGA (New!)
In this thrilling new show, Mission: MEGA, the AVL is on a mission to find volunteers who can trial their latest Mega technology and be transformed into Mega humans. But this ground-breaking technology soon attracts unwanted attention and it is up to Kevin, Stuart, and the AVL to prevent their mission from turning into a Mega disaster! Guests can look forward to a meet and greet with Kevin, Stuart, and the Mega humans at the end of the show at the New York Public Library.
Bring Home Merchandise and Savour Food that are Truly One in a Minion
Fans can shop an exclusive Despicable Me 4 movie range at the Universal Studios Store and Minion Mart, featuring apparel, plushies, fart blasters, action figures, and more. For some delicious treats themed to Despicable Me 4, guests can look no further than select restaurants and carts in the theme park. Pops! Popcorn Delights, Mel’s Drive-In, Star Snacks, KT’s Grill, and Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor will be serving up delightful treats and beverages including burgers, pizza, cupcakes, macarons, popcorn and more.
Even more mayhem with the Minions is in store for fans when Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 opens in cinemas on 4 July.

Fashion and fandom collide at UNIVRS with exclusive merchandise inspired by popular Universal characters such as tees, jackets, tracksuits, skirts, tote bags, and hats. Kicking off the grand opening of UNIVRS at Universal Studios Singapore, the initial limited launch for Summer 2024 features fan favourites including Woody Woodpecker, Hot Stuff, Back to the Future, as well as the Felix the Cat x Mister Cartoon, and the Minions x Buff Monster collaborations. Merchandise is released seasonally and in limited quantities, so guests should not hesitate to snatch something up if it catches their eye! The new UNIVRS store will be located at the former The Brown Derby in the Hollywood zone.
A Mega Despicable Summer is included with regular admission to Universal Studios Singapore. Tickets retail from S$74/Adult and S$59/Child. From 10 June, tickets will come with a S$5 meal voucher and S$5 retail voucher.
