Happy 35th Anniversary, Toys ”R” Us!
Toys ”R” Us was first established in Singapore in 1984 and today, it celebrated its 35th Anniversary at VivoCity Flagship Store. At the same time, the popular toy store welcomes shoppers to its first ever toy fair where everyone can come and experience the hottest toys for three days from 4th to 6th October!
It is also Children’s Day today and many parents were seen bringing their children to visit the toy store. Raymond Burt, the Group Country Director for Southeast Asia at Toys”R”Us gave a welcome message to media, guests and public. This is followed by the birthday song, cake cutting and lion dance to celebrate this joyous occasion. We are so excited to be able to celebrate Toys ”R” Us 35th Anniversary!
At the anniversary, kids get to meet their favourite mascots and take photos with them like Geoffrey the Giraffe, Lego Ninjago, Sylvanian Families, Paw Patrols, Play Doh and more.
Kids get to indulge in treats like candy floss and popcorn at the store. 10 interactive activity stations are available at VivoCity Flagship for them to get hands on and play with the toys like Hatchimals, Treasure X Aliens, Beyblade, R/C Race Zone, Monster Jam, Nerf x Fornite, Playdoh
1-Up Arcade Machines, Hasbro Gaming – Jenga and Connect 4 and the only Slimy Machine in Singapore.

There will be a series of fun and games happening in VivoCity Flagship every weekend for the month of October, such as Star Wars, LOL Surprise, Beyblade and Hasbro Gaming! Bring your kids to Toys ”R” Us, VivoCity and have a fun-filled time!
