The Body Shop launched their first ever Body Butter in 1992 created in the kitchen of Dame Anita Roddick, Founder of The Body Shop. The very first Mango Body Butter was given its name by her daughter who, while making a piece of toast, simply said “it’s like butter…for your body”. This seriously rich formula transformed moisturiser application forever, from the humble squirt to the generous, body-loving scoop. The rest is history. Today, these iconic moisturisers are loved so much that 1 is sold every 3 seconds across the world and these body-loving favourites just got even better. What’s more, their new Body Butters are now 100% vegan, registered by The Vegan Society (a gold standard for vegan certification).
Their Body Butters are now in their most sustainable form of packaging yet, in a fully recyclable, most sustainable form of packaging with aluminium lids and 100% recycled plastic. The Body Butters contain at least 95% ingredients of natural origin and deliver 96-hour of intense moisture to your skin.
There are 12 delicious flavours: Strawberry, British Rose, Pink Grapefruit, Satsuma, Almond Milk, Mango, Moringa, Shea, Coconut, Argan, Olive and Avocado for you to choose from. The new, creamy Avocado Body Butter is made with Hass avocado oil that is grown and sourced sustainably in South Africa using cutting-edge water management programmes and Community Fair Trade shea butter. Great for your skin and great for the planet!
