Visit Spooky Seas and celebrate Halloween at S.E.A. Aquarium from 29 September to 29 October 2017! The Sea Witch truly awakens this Halloween and has risen from the depths of the ocean to the surface with some untruths to dispel urgently!
She needs help! Kids visit S.E.A. Aquarium and join as Underwater Ocean Protectors with Captain Spooks and his team to help solve these mysteries.
Embark on an adventure and participate in The Ocean Protectors’ Stations. There are three game stations and each station, kids can collect their treats after completing the activity.
At the Dead Or Alive Station, test your knowledge on corals and guess if they are dead or alive! Are Corals animals? Kids learnt that corals are not rocks or plants, they are actually animals.
The Plastic Panic Station, kids learnt about how dangerous plastics is to the marine animals and how they should dispose their trash properly. For example we can help to save the ocean by using reusable bag instead of plastic bag.
It is educating and meaningful for the kids as they get to learn so much about the marine life and how they can do their part to save the ocean.
The Sharks Station, kids get to spin the wheel and answer a fun question about Sharks.
Kids learnt more about sharks and humans are not part of sharks’ diet. Let’s join in to save them by not eating shark fins.
Collect the stamps from all the stations and you are now an Ocean Protector! Well done kids!
The Ocean Protectors’ Stations
Make sure your kids visit all three game stations and collect their treats! At the Sharks Station, get to spin the wheel and answer a fun question about Sharks. At the Plastic Panic Station, take a shot at stopping the madly flashing, revolving lights, and at the Dead Or Alive Station, test your knowledge on corals and guess if they are dead or alive!
10am – 7pm daily
At this educational station, you can learn how long it takes for these items like newspaper, cotton shirt and others will stay in the ocean. These items are usually litter found during coastal cleanups and eaten up by the marine animals.
We are shocked to find that plastic straws takes 200 years to break down. Let’s all do our part and save the ocean. Do not throw any trash into the ocean and it is best to replace plastic with other items.
Colouring Fun at Ocean Gallery
Kids can have fun colouring at Ocean Gallery, free colouring sheets are available just for them and if you want to have a customised a tote bag (available for purchase at S$5), you can colour your bag using fabric markers and stencils.
