The third instalment of NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra™ happened today at Choa Chu Kang Park, from 5.00pm till late. It is really a good time to bring your family and friends to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival and at the same time, enjoy having picnic outdoor while listening to many of the popular xinyao (新谣) hits, golden oldies, Mandopop, and Cantopop songs (华粤语流行曲).
The event is very popular with streams of crowd coming in to participate in NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra™. Many families are seen with their picnic baskets and enjoying the live performances.
There are many things to do at the event, visitors are able to enjoy a fun-filled Mid-Autumn themed Fringe Activities such as fan calligraphy and lantern-making. The highlight of the event definitely has to be the concert and it is held in conjunction with Mid-Autumn Festival!
NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra™ at Choa Chu Kang Park starts from 5.00pm onwards. Audience are treated to mooncakes and chinese tea while enjoy an evening of Xinyao, Mandopop and Cantopop-themed music featuring the likes of Hao Hao (皓皓), Roy Loi (黎沸挥), Tay Kewei (郑可为), Alfred Sim (沈志豪), Tallin Ang 嫦嫔 – 邓丽君歌曲演唱者, Jason Chung (曾詠恆), and The JumpStart performing classics by the likes of Hong Kong’s Four Heavenly Kings, Teresa Teng, Beyond, Mayday, S.H.E. and Jay Chou! It is a wonderful evening of food and lovely music for everyone!
We have a great time listening to the fabulous singers and having fun at the event. It is certainly an enjoyable and memorable day to spend with family and friends. Thanks to the organisers, NParks and staff for this awesome event!

Come and bring your family and friends, join in the third instalment of NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra™, on Saturday, 17 September, at Choa Chu Kang Park, from 5.00pm till late.
The concert, which will be held in conjunction with Mid-Autumn Festival, will feature popular xinyao (新谣) hits, golden oldies, Mandopop, and Cantopop songs (华粤语流行曲). Families and friends can also look forward to an evening of fun-filled Mid-Autumn themed fringe activities such as fan calligraphy and lantern-making.
The audience will be treated to mooncakes and Chinese tea, while serenaded by popular artistes in the local Chinese music scene such as Hao Hao (皓皓), Roy Loi (黎沸挥), Tay Kewei (郑可为), Alfred Sim (沈志豪), Tallin Ang (嫦嫔) – Singapore’s Teresa Teng, Jason Chung (曾詠恆), and The JumpStart. Local talents, Alina Liu, Isaac Wu, Lim Wei Xiang and Joyce Seah, who recently won the “National Schools Xinyao Singing and Song Writing Competition 2016”, will also be making their debut.
