Daddy is featured in New Straits Times. The article is about introducing the new MMRV combination vaccine. This is a 4-in-1 vaccine to protect against 4 serious infections (measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox). This new 4-in-1 vaccine is different from the current 3-in-1 vaccine (MMR) provided by the government.
The new 4-in-1 vaccine has the added protection against chickenpox compared to the old 3-in-1 vaccine. Chickepox vaccination is very important as although most people think that infection from chickenpox is not serious, it can become serious and even fatal in a small number of unfortunate people. Furthermore, by preventing chickepox infection through vaccination, it can reduce school absentee for the kids.
