Mercure Singapore Bugis has launched its delectable Rasa Sayang BBQ Buffet (1 June – 26 August 2018) at Royale Restaurant featuring over 30 sumptuous local and Asian dishes including a Live Asian Barbecue Station firing up the best of local grill that will surely satisfy your cravings!

We can’t wait to get started with the Rasa Sayang BBQ Buffet! Here are some of the key highlights of the buffet as follows:
Instead of a typical salad bar at most buffets, Rasa Sayang BBQ Buffet has a DIY Rojak corner where you can custom made your very own rojak with ingredients like you-tiao, grated peanuts, pineapples, cucumber, apples, sweet sauce and more.

Wok–Fried Salted Egg Yolk Prawns
Diners can look forward to indulge in a wide variety of hot dishes like traditional classics including Fried Kway Teow, Snapper Fish Head Curry, Kampung Nasi Goreng and local favourites such as the Wok–Fried Salted Egg Yolk Prawns and succulent Har Cheong Gai featuring crispy fried chicken marinated in rich shrimp paste.
Paperbag Oven Baked Laksa Chicken
Royale’s Asian Bao-wich
Must try dishes like Chef’s signature Paperbag Oven Baked Laksa Chicken that comes with an ingenious novel twist by Executive Chef Nicholas Sia. The Paper Bag OvenBaked Laksa Chicken served in a richly fragrant spicy coconut broth of seven spices, the meat is so tender and full of flavour!
Next must try is Asian Bao-wich, another creative creation from Chef which is a spin off from the popular Braised Pork Belly Buns. At Royale’s Asian Bao-wich counter, diners can create their own version and filled up the soft pillowy steamed buns with three Asian flavoured filings like Nyonya Chicken, Black Pepper Beef or Braised Five Spice Pork Belly.
There’s more, visit the Outdoor Live Asian Barbecue Station that has been specially set up within the restaurant al fresco section where you can enjoy freshly-grilled, tasty meat like Grilled Sambal Stingray, Sotong, Ayam Panggang and Assorted Satay Skewers.
Pandan Chiffon Marshmallow Sandwich
Don’t forget to leave some space for desserts, diners can look forward to enjoy a wide variety of desserts including handcrafted locally inspired desserts like the soft and delicate Pandan Chiffon Marshmallow Sandwich that is based on the island’s much-loved ice cream sandwich, Durian Crème Brulee, DIY Chendol Station, cakes, pastries, assorted nyonya kueh, ice cream, fresh fruits, and more.
