KidSTART is an impactful child development programme that creates positive outcomes for children and parents to be confident caregivers. With its goals of supporting those with less resources in building strong foundations for their children under 6 years old, in order to give them a good start in life, KidSTART is pleased to present the KidSTART PlayDate @ Tampines on August 4, 2024, Sunday. Held in conjunction with KidSTART @ Care Corner, Get Active! Singapore and supported by the Health Promotion Board and Sport Singapore, the second edition of KidSTART’s PlayDate series for this year heads east, with an action-packed sports theme. Minister Masagos Zulkifli will be their Guest of Honour.
Expect activity stations where children 0-6 years old can partake in fun early childhood development games, interactive stage performances, bouncy castles and a ball pit. Think lively kids’ Zumba session and parent-child yoga! A highlight would be the KidSTART Experience Room, where families can get a taste of what to expect during a KidSTART home visit, and how KidSTART’s trained practitioners empower families with techniques that support their children’s development.

- KidSTART’s Sea Adventures Play – An exclusive KidSTART stage production where children will learn how to care for the sea and one another. Includes a pre-event craft activity, where the crafts will be used as part of the play.
- Learning Game Stations for parent-child bonding, with simple but fun games that promote hand-eye coordination, motor skills, colour recognition, numeracy, teamwork, and more.
- Baby Game Stations where children below the age of 1 can engage in mirror play, soft play and other activities.
- Music and Movement – Kids’ Zumba and parent-child yoga
- Bouncy castles and a ball pit – No explanation needed!
- KidSTART Experience Room – where families can get a taste of what to expect during a KidSTART home visit, and how KidSTART’s trained practitioners support families in early childhood development.
- KidSTART Booth – For eligible families to find out more about KidSTART programmes, and where eligible families can sign up to be a KidSTART family.
