The Junior Rockstars is a 3-hour holiday program designed for children from 7 to 12 years old. In this gem adventure, your children will get to experience the beauty of science and art of gemstones!
They will learn through observing and touching different types of gems, unusual rocks and minerals from all over the world. Using multi-sensory learning aspects, there will be hands-on activities such as using of microscope and growing of crystals to give your children a fun and interactive way to understand gem crystals.
Key learning include:
• Understanding rock cycle and gems formation through science.
• Investigate how crystals are grown.
• Determine what is a real gem and a fake gem.
• The art of rocks, gems and minerals.
