For a truly indulgent festive meal, the “Harvest Set Menu” offers Propserity Yellowtail Yu Sheng with Amaebi, Smoked Caviar, Crispy Fish and Nashi Pear, Stewed Japanese Wagyu Beef Oxtail with Pan-fried Fish Maw and Dried Oyster, and a refreshing Chilled Coconut Jelly accompanied with Honey Bee Bird’s Nest Pastry as dessert.
We tried out the “Harvest Set Menu”, which is priced at $2888++ for 10 persons (minimum 10 persons) during the media tasting. The food plating and presentation, the delicious and sumptuous CNY cuisines are simply impressive, thanks to the effort of their Executive Chinese Chef, Edward Chong who has helmed the restaurant since 2017.
The first item is Prosperity Yellowtail Yu Sheng with Amaebi, Smoked Caviar, Crispy Fishand Nashi Pear.
After tossing the Yu Sheng, you can mix with your own container of amaebi (sweet shrimp) for the added texture and taste. This makes the Yu Sheng even more unique and delicious as compared to other conventional ones.
Double-boiled Premium Delicacies Sea Treasure Supreme Soup
The next item in the menu is the double boiled soup, this mouth-watering and nourishing soup is filled with premium seafood like sea cucumber, dried scallops and others. What’s more, the soup comes with a large and juicy abalone. The soup is so delicious that we finished every drop of it!
Stewed Japanese Wagyu Beef Oxtail with Pan-fried Fish Maw and Dried Oyster
The Wagyu beef oxtail has been cooked perfectly to bring out its flavour, the meat is so tender and succulent. A great combination with the tasty fish maw and plump dried oyster.
Steamed Fillet of Pacific Grouper with Fried Spicy Soy Bean Crisp accompanied with Steamed Soy Bean Egg Custard
The fresh fillet is so fresh and the meat is superbly tender that melts in our mouth. The fabulous fish dish comes with fried Spicy Soy Bean Crisp for the added crunchy texture and combined very well with the silky smooth egg custard.
Poached Rice with Lobster in Imperial Stock and served with Crispy Rice (before pouring the Imperial stock above and after below)
For the rice item, Executive Chinese Chef, Edward Chong uses two types of rice consisting of poached rice with lobster stock and then sprinkled with golden crispy rice at the top. This is a wonderful comforting dish using different rice together with large chucks of lobster meat and superior broth that is bursting with flavour! We thoroughly enjoyed this delectable rice dish!
Chilled Coconut Jelly accompanied with Honey Bee Bird’s Nest Pastry
For desserts, everyone is amazed when the desserts was served, the beautifully presented “Bumblebee” pastry served with chilled coconut jelly together with bird nest pastry is set to ‘wow’ diners, what a refreshing and impressive way to end a hearty and sumptuous meal!
