This May, the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) invites families to step into a world of imagination as Little SIFA returns with an exciting lineup of interactive and family-friendly performances at Empress Lawn. Designed to make the arts more accessible to young audiences, this year’s edition transforms the space into an open, creative playground – free for all to enjoy.
At the heart of Little SIFA 2025 are two standout programmes that reimagine storytelling and play:
The House Between The Winds
Monday – Sunday
19 May – 1 June 2025
Various Timings
An enchanting, kinetic installation by Singaporean artist Yang Jie, this large-scale artwork comes to life through movement and sound, inviting children to interact with a talking, wind-powered structure. Blurring the lines between art and play, it sparks curiosity and creativity in a way that’s both engaging and thought-provoking.
Animal Farm
Friday – Sunday
30 May – 1 June 2025
Singapore’s acclaimed puppetry troupe, The Finger Players, presents a specially adapted version of their classic production Animal Farm for young audiences. With inventive puppetry and a lively reimagining of the story’s themes, this adaptation introduces children to the magic of theatre while making complex ideas accessible and entertaining for young minds.
