DBS Marina Regatta, Singapore’s Biggest BayFest, returns in its 6th edition from 1 to 4 June 2017! Visitors during the 4 days event look forward to a wide variety of activities with the debut of Singapore’s largest giant inflatable water obstacle course and Singapore’s largest interactive art dome.
Singapore’s largest giant inflatable water obstacle course
DBS Marina Regatta sees the debut of Singapore’s biggest inflatable water obstacle course. Participants can look forward to the Battle Bay’s nine challenging obstacles to navigate including balance blocks, monkey bars, wall scaling, and rope swings. The whole water obstacle course covers over 11,000 square feet (some 1,100 square metres).
Bay Beach : Singapore’s only pop-up urban beach
The Bay has been transformed into Singapore’s one and only pop-up urban beach, which doubles in size from last year. Bali beach club Potato Head brings in their legendary Coconut Bar here for the first time, completes with their signature uber fresh coconut cocktails and beers.
Bay Dome: Singapore’s largest interactive art dome
Upon entering the bay dome, visitors will be in awe as the bay dome offers an immersive interactive art experience with Singapore’s largest illustrated projection of the Marina Bay skyline. You can create and customise your own characters and watch your designs come to life!
Bay Eats featuring dining options from Singapore’s top young chefs
Food lovers can visit regatta’s food village Bay Eats that are curated by The Local People and feature food stalls from award-winning and the top new eateries in town such as the “Neo-Sin” restaurant Labyrinth, French eatery Garçons, The BellJar, Leng Leng ice cream and more.
Play Dome: Play in the day, party at night
The nine-metre-tall Play Dome will host many of the fitness classes launched by lululemon during the day. At night, the DBSMR X Ultra Countdown Party took place exclusively at the regatta from 7pm to 10pm, on Friday and Saturday evening (2 & 3 June). The pre-parties featured three Ultra Music Festival deejays every night, such as Dubvision, Crossnaders, Raiden, Jade Rasif, Moe and Myrne.
DBS Marina Regatta 2017 is packed with a slate of unmissable activities to take outdoor enthusiasts, fitness lovers and partygoers alike from day to night, while watching the region’s top dragon boating teams battle it out against the iconic Marina Bay skyline for Asia’s highest prize purse of SGD 134,000. Visitors have a great time taking part in various unique activities like Battle Bay, Singapore’s largest giant inflatable water obstacle course and Bay Dome, Singapore’s largest interactive art dome.
