Our Parenting World was invited to attend the inaugural Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay officially launched on 28 November 2014 with the illumination of the majestic Spalliera – the largest Luminarie light sculpture at the event – by Guest of Honour, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Minister for National Development.
Guests, including beneficiaries from the Ang Mo Kio – Thye Hua Kwan Hospital, witnessed the enchanting Italian Luminarie light sculptures light up the Gardens while partaking in a bustling European-style Festive Market at the Supertree Grove and getting into the winter holiday spirit with Yuletide in the Flower Dome.
Jointly organised by Blue Sky Events and Gardens by the Bay, Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay is set to redefine the experience of celebrating the festive season in the tropics with unique installations and programmes specially curated for all to enjoy.
We absolutely love the Christmas atmosphere at Gardens by the Bay that we went back recently, join us as we show you around Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay which is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Wow!
Before entering into the Flower Dome, do spend time to explore around the exterior especially at the Supertree Grove.
Upon entering the Gardens by the Bay, immediately you will see rows of beautifully decorated Christmas Tree.
This is one of the hot spots for photo taking infront of a huge beautifully decorated Christmas Tree just besides the Luminarie light structures.
Another hot spot for photo taking, Luminarie light structures, they are specially handcrafted and flown in from Italy.
Luminarie light structures are even more beautiful, dazzling and spellbinding when the sky is dark.
Visitors can look out for a wide variety of performances at the stage of the beautifully illuminated Casa Armonica gazebo.

At nightfall, it looks so stunningly beautiful!
If you are feeling hungry, tired, thirsty or looking for gifts or souvenirs, you can find them all at the European-style Festive Market.
We came to a spectacular 200-year-old Spiegeltent, specially imported from the Netherlands and pieced together by hand for Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay. The boys couldn’t imagine that this is actually a 200 years old tent!
They are so amazed and impressed with the tent!
