Cat & the Fiddle Introduces Locally-Inspired Snow Skin Mooncake Collection For The First Time

In celebration of the coming Mid-Autumn Festival, Cat & the Fiddle has introduced their first-ever locally-inspired snow skin mooncake collection that will be available from now till 10 September 2022.

Setting it apart from conventional snow skin mooncakes is the brand’s proprietary cream cheese filling which is featured in a tempting line-up of familiar favourite flavours like Kopi Gao, Teh Peng and Bandung. There is also an intensely-rich Mao Shan Wang rendition!

Two different six-piece box sets are available from Cat & the Fiddle’s 2022 mooncake collection –Meowsketeer Trio ($68.90) and Meowsketeer Towkay ($78.90).

A nod to some of Singapore’s best-loved local beverages, Meowsketeer Trio comprises two pieces each of Kopi Gao, Teh Peng and Bandung snowskin mooncakes. Each gem boasts a delicate and thin exterior with velvety-smooth fillings made with aromatic local coffee, robust black tea and rose-scented bandung-infused lotus paste respectively. In the centre of each mooncake is a white chocolate truffle piped with delightful combinations of Cat & the Fiddle’s signature cream cheese; with dark chocolate for Kopi Gao and condensed milk white chocolate ganache for Teh Peng and Bandung.
Meowsketeer Towkay is a decadent treat decked in an exquisite charcoal snow skin with a rich and bittersweet Mao Shan Wang durian filling within.

In line with the locally-inspired theme is a functional two-tier ‘drawer’ mooncake box decorated with quirky illustrations of an 80s’ style HDB block and local kopitiam – there is even a limited-edition kopi dabao carrier, which makes an ideal gift for loved ones during this enchanting time of the year.
