Christmas Wonderland is set to ignite your senses this festive season with an amazing array of new immersive experiences, even more light displays and festive performances, as well as the return of fan favourites that will delight visitors of all ages. Presented by Trip.com and organised by Blue Sky Events, the 11th edition of Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair returns to Gardens by the Bay from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025.
Enjoy ‘snowfall’ in the tropics surrounded by a dazzling light installation, say hello to a trio of Merry Bears, explore an enchanted forest, have a go at carnival games, catch festive performances by local artistes, dine on festive treats and more.
Experience the surreal landscape of ‘snowfall’ in the Gardens daily with Blizzard Time, a perennial favourite made even more magical with a brand-new specially commissioned soundtrack by Singaporean composer-conductor Dr. Darius Lim. His composition, entitled Magic of Christmas, will enhance the ethereal atmosphere of Blizzard Time alongside the magnificent 20-metre-tall Spalliera light display, which is inspired by the pointed arches in Italian Gothic architecture and handmade by artisans from the south of Italy.
Photo opportunities are aplenty all around the Supertree Grove with four times more light displays that include a giant Ice Skate, Ornament Balls, and Gift Boxes.
Over at the Lawn, a larger-than-life light display of an adorable trio of Merry Bears – with the biggest at nearly six metres tall – will put a smile on everyone’s faces. Visitors can also wander through an enchanted forest at Bluebell Lane.
The photo opportunities do not stop there – more captivating light displays can be found at Merry Lane presented by Trip.com, with installations such as the colourful 50-metre-long Walk of Lights tunnel. Another highlight is Odette’s Dance, an ode to one of the world’s most iconic ballets, Swan Lake. The mixed media installation combines light displays of swans with captivating multimedia content.
