Our Parenting World team attended “The Smart Living Family Workshop” organised by LG Electronics held at Amazonia Indoor Playground at Great World City Mall.
LG Electronics was so thoughtful to have the event at Amazonia where parents could listen to the talk while kids had fun playing at the indoor playground.
At the talk, LG Electronics invited Miss Verleen Goh who is a qualified nutritionist from Eat Right Singapore to share with us about food nutrition, food safety knowledge and how the right home appliances can play a part in helping you and your family maintain a healthier lifestyle which is very beneficial and relevant to us.
LG Electronics also showcases its latest home appliances products which aim to help busy parents to manage their hectic lifestyle and save time.
Introducing its latest range of refrigerator which has many useful features like optimizing storage place, keep food safe and fresh with its hygiene fresh technology that has a strong sterilization and deodorization performance, greater energy saving with 48 enhanced LED lightings and many more. That’s not all, LG Electronics also introduced its latest range of washing machines which include mini washing machines for baby laundry and Singapore’s first warm wash top load washing machine. Together with a representative from Pigeon, a well known Mother and Baby products company who taught us how to wash our laundry in a proper way.
The above model is very light at 3.5kg and measured only 36cm in depth. It is designed to provide consumers with time, energy, water and space saving features. It is ideal for washing smaller loads of laundry and delicate items. The mini washers,WD BABYLUV model comes with 6 Motion feature uses 6 different hand washing techniques to gently and effectively clean laundry.
The above LG WFT1771DD model is the only top load washer in Singapore which features the warm wash function that aims to help consumers save time by making each wash more effective.
With the warm wash option, consumers have the flexibility to choose to wash their laundry with either cold or warm water. The machine is capable to choose the optimal water temperature for the wash. Other useful options include stain care or whitening course, the machine is programmed to wash with 40°C water. Alternatively, when allergy care course is selected, 60°C warm water will be used and it results in a 95% increase in allergens removal. These higher temperatures will result in better dissolving of detergent and they have been tested in the laboratory to be the optimal temperature for the removal of stubborn stains, dust mites, pollen and pet fur which some adults and or children maybe allergic to.
