As the sun sets and the call to prayer marks the end of the day’s fast, 21 on Rajah invites diners to break fast over a decadent Iftar buffet spread of Mediterranean and Asian flavours, available from 2 March to 30 March 2025. To enhance the experience, dedicated prayer rooms are also available, allowing Muslim guests to comfortably perform their prayers before resuming their meal and celebrations.
Priced at S$68++ for adults and S$34++ for children, the buffet features an enticing selection of traditional Malay and Indonesian-inspired dishes that are sure to delight. Start with a comforting bowl of Bubur Lambuk, a creamy and aromatic savoury rice porridge infused with a medley of spices and rich coconut milk, offering a warm and flavourful introduction to the meal. The Ayam Penyet Overload with Homemade Sambal, the bold and tangy Udang Petai, the aromatic Asam Pedas Tenggiri, and the tender, flavourful Beef Cheek Rendang perfectly complement the hearty and nostalgic flavours of the spread, offering a diverse array of dishes that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of Malay and Indonesian cuisine.
Adding a twist to the spread, creative fusions like Satay Pizza and Arabic Lamb Pizza bring an interesting flair to the dining experience, ensuring something delightful for every palate.
On weekends, diners will be treated to a wide array of fresh enhanced seafood on ice that includes Boston Lobster and Snow Crab Leg as well as a spread of grilled delicacies – Jumbo Tiger Prawns, local Mackerel, Lamb T-Bone Steak and Otah Otah wrapped snugly in coconut leaves at the Grill Station located at the patio.
Hearty Carvings and Flavourful Mains
At the carving station are a myriad of delicious meat, with three different options available on rotation such as show-stoppers dishes of a Slow-Cooked Baby Lamb in Moroccan Yoghurt Citrus served over fragrant long-grain rice with brown vermicelli and the US Beef Ribs in Harissa Glaze BBQ Sauce, served with grilled vegetables, both showcase bold, traditional flavours and expertly prepared to deliver a satisfying and memorable dining experience.
Sweet Endings to Remember
Round off the evening with a decadent dessert selection that celebrates the rich flavours of Asia and the Middle East. On top of the usual Ramadan cookies and dried dates, dive into a basket of golden Deep-Fried Chempedak Fritter and Durian Fritter Roll, or the nutty, flaky layers of Baklava. For an extra touch of sweetness, savour the luscious, cheese-filled Kunefe, each bite offering a perfect balance of flavour and texture.
Popular local desserts such as the Bubur Chacha, Pulut Hitam, Fresh Durian Mousse with Coconut Cream and Gula Melaka with a range of assorted Nonya Kueh will leave diners craving for more.
