The much-anticipated joint production by local film company Hong Pictures and Bangkok-based Hollywood Thailand, ππππ ππππ γθ’«ιΌθ±ιγ, celebrated its Gala Premiere at Shaw Theatres Lido on 21 January 2025, ahead of its cinematic release on 23 January 2025. Director Kok Man Hon was joined by local and Thai stars: Wang Wei Liang, Hayley Woo, Chen Tian Wen, Lim Yew Huat, Long Lee, Vithaya Pansringarm, Kongkit and Daew. Double-hatting as the movie’s executive producer and as one of its lead actors, Baby Hero marks Wang Wei Liang’s first venture into film production.

As a lead-up to the debut ofΒ Baby Hero, a series of high-energy and engaging flash mobs thrilled shoppers at Tampines Mall, Sengkang Grand Mall, and Junction 8 on 18 January. Amidst unsuspecting mall visitors, cast members Wang Wei Liang and Lim Yew Huat, in character as their on-screen personas, enacted a playful cat-and-mouse chase in a bid to gain possession of a treasure. The chase culminated in a meet-and-greet session at Junction 8 where the cast met and interacted with fans.
Baby Hero lead actor and Muay Thai superstar Long Lee showcased his martial arts skills at the KBX68 Muay Thai fight event on 19 Jan 2025, thrilling fans and building excitement for the upcoming action-comedy film. Long Lee’s dynamic performance highlighted his roots in Muay Thai and offered a preview of the intense action fans can expect in Baby Hero. The event, attended by Muay Thai enthusiasts and film supporters, further amplified buzzΒ forΒ theΒ movie.
About Baby Hero
Overwhelmed by the pressure of chasing his music dream, Sun (Long Lee) retreats to his hometown, Happy Village, where his family runs a small tourism business. Sunβs girlfriend, Leena (Hayley Woo), joins the tour group in hopes of bringing Sun back. Among the tour group is an infamous thief, βAh Jiuβ (Wang Weiliang), sent to steal a magical statue from the village. Each of the tourists with their unique personalities and intentions, must rely on their fists and wits to resist the villains from stealing the magical statue. Together, they are forced to become heroes, protecting both the magical statue and Happy Villageβ¦
The overarching themes of courage, love and resilience are further encapsulated in the movie OST, in which the songs celebrate and encourage everyone to persevere through difficult times. The main soundtracks and songs of the movie OST are also written and produced by Singapore musicians.
