At Fourgather, diners are served a steamy pot of fragrant Pandan Jasmine Rice Porridge (S$5.90++ ala carte) paired with a charming tiffin carrier filled with side dishes. From classic options like Fish Sausage Salad Yum, Thai Garlic Lime Pork (Moo Manao), and Steamed Pork Patty with Salted Fish (S$4.90++ ala carte), to premium sides such as Fried Crispy Pork Belly with Fish Sauce and Thai Stir-Fried Garlic Prawns (S$6.90 – $12.90++ ala carte), this dish offers an unforgettable feast. For communal dining, the Pinto Thai Rice Porridge Set is available for two (S$23.90++) or four (S$52.90++), making it a perfect option for sharing with friends or family.
L-R: Thai Crab Laksa (Kanom Jeen Puu), Slow Braised Pork Knuckle
For those who adore laksa, the Thai Crab Laksa (Kanom Jeen Puu) (S$20.90++) is a must-try. This rich, coconut curry noodle dish is a celebration of flavours, with tender chunks of blue flower crab, vibrant vegetables, and a subtle kick of spice, making it a crowd-pleaser for seafood lovers.
Another noteworthy addition is the Slow Braised Pork Knuckle. Cooked with aromatic Thai spices and served with pickled vegetables, kai lan, and a tangy dipping sauce, this dish (S$26.90++ ala carte or S$15.90++ with rice) delivers melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and a burst of bold, addictive flavours. The combination of tender pork and the aromatic spices leaves a lasting impression.
Creamy Lava Egg Served With A Basil or Garlic Protein (of your choice)
If you’re looking for a unique egg dish, the Creamy Lava Egg Served with a Basil or Garlic Protein (of your choice) (S$15.90 – S$35.90++) is a must-try. The silky eggs cascade over fragrant jasmine rice, paired with your choice of protein, whether it’s chicken, pork, prawns, or seafood. The eggs, paired with stir-fried fragrant Thai basil or garlic, create a perfect harmony of texture and flavour, making this dish a memorable experience. Spice enthusiasts can also customise their heat level, choosing from five different spice options to suit their preferences.
Review: A Taste of Thailand in Every Bite
During our recent visit to Fourgather, we were blown away by the attention to detail in both presentation and flavour. The Pinto Thai Rice Porridge was not just a meal; it was a nostalgic journey. The aromatic rice, paired with a delightful selection of sides, offered a comforting experience, especially the Fried Crispy Pork Belly which was perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside while tender inside.
The Thai Crab Laksa was another standout dish. The creamy coconut broth was packed with flavour, and the tender chunks of blue flower crab added a luxurious touch to this already decadent dish. It’s the perfect combination of spice and richness, offering an elevated twist on a classic laksa.
Lastly, the Slow Braised Pork Knuckle was simply outstanding. The pork was fall-apart tender, with a perfect balance of sweet and savoury notes from the braising spices. The accompanying pickled vegetables added a tangy contrast that cut through the richness of the dish, creating a well-rounded flavour profile that lingered long after each bite.
Overall, Fourgather’s new menu does an excellent job of highlighting the essence of Thai street food while adding their own modern touch. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Thai flavours or looking to try something new, their latest offerings are sure to satisfy.
