MINDS and the Singapore Film Society (SFS) proudly present MINDS Film Festival (MFF) 2024, with seven international films to be screened at Shaw Theatres from 14 to 22 September 2024.
This year’s festival shines a spotlight on the individuality and resilience of persons with special needs, through a curated showcase of films that portray the spirit and creativity of the community. The MFF is a testament to the transformative power of family and community support and seeks to deepen public understanding and foster greater acceptance of individuals with disabilities in our community.
“Storytelling through film has the profound ability to forge connections between hearts and minds. The MINDS Film Festival is more than an event; it is a tribute to the exceptional talents and narratives of persons with intellectual disabilities,” commented Mr Kelvin Koh, CEO of MINDS. “This year, we are excited to feature films that celebrate their remarkable journeys and the unwavering support from their families and communities. We invite everyone to experience these inspiring stories and join us in our mission to promote inclusion and diversity within our society.”
The compelling lineup of films from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and USA will offer audiences an immersive journey into the resilient and empowering lives of persons with special needs.
