Shifting gears into overdrive with a seamless fusion of high-octane car racing, delectable gastronomy, and electrifying “live” music performances, the inaugural Sprint Fest 2023, opens FREE to the public, will blaze the trail at the picturesque beachfront and green turf venue, Sentosa Palawan Green, on 22 and 23 July 2023, from 11am to 9pm daily.
Bringing together a diverse community of motorsport enthusiasts, thrill seekers, food aficionados, and music fans, this automotive extravaganza is proudly organized by 2+1 Concepts.
Akin to the glory days of cars whizzing by at top speeds in Kallang carpark, Sprint Fest 2023 will see the return of grassroot motorsports with the first-ever Auto Gymkhana Round at Sentosa. Featuring the preliminary rounds of the Motor Sports Singapore (MSS) Auto Gymkhana Round 1 on both days, top male and female racers in Singapore will compete in a thrilling display of skill, grit, and precision on a challenging race track designed to test their agility, speed, and control, sanctioned by Motor Sports Singapore and its esteemed panel of judges.
The race will culminate in the finals on 23 July, where the top male and female drivers will drive home the prestigious opportunity to represent Singapore in the highly-anticipated Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Asia Pacific Motorsports Championship 2023 to be held at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia in September 2023.
“We take immense pride in our contribution to the local motorsports scene, organizing the highly anticipated MSS Auto Gymkhana Round 1. This thrilling competition serves as a platform to showcase the extraordinary skill and precision of our talented drivers,” expressed Winson Ow, President of Motor Sports Singapore. “As the first-ever Gymkhana race in Sentosa, this event also marks a significant milestone for us, and we eagerly await the electrifying atmosphere, unwavering passion, and intense competition that we’re sure will have everyone on the edge of their seats.”
Offering much more than just heart-pounding motorsports action, festival-goers will also be treated to a tantalising selection of gastronomy delights from an array of food & drinks stalls and snacks pop-ups, including Breadfirst Everyday (@breadfirsteveryday), Burnt Cones (@burntcones), CCOOKS (@ccook.co), Khao Hom by Rung Mama (@khaohomsg), Miss Chardog (@misschardog), One-B Takoyaki (@oneb.2022), Papi’s Tacos (@papistacossg), Praffles (@fooditudesg), SOHTT Singapore (@sohttsg), Syohachi Singapore (@syohachi_yakiniku_sg), Three Buns Singapore (@threebunssg), The Swag Social (@theswagsocial) and High Society Spirits (@highsocietyspirits).
