Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) invites fans and enthusiasts of The Avengers to an extraordinary Marvel-themed event. Witness Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in action at Avengers: Beyond Earths’ Mightiest, taking place from 26 May to 13 August 2023. Prepare to be amazed at two captivating exhibitions: Avengers Assemble @ Shiseido Forest Valley and Avengers Forever @ Canopy Park. Immerse yourself in the world of the Avengers as you explore Avengers Assemble, where 3D installations and interactive displays bring beloved characters to life. At Avengers Forever, celebrate 60 years of Avengers history through an engaging showcase of iconic moments from comics, television, toys, and movies.
Avengers Assemble @Shiseido Forest Valley! Life-sized photo spots and exciting displays
At Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley main entrance, a 5-metre red and gold statue of Iron Man stands tall. Amidst the breathtaking green landscape, guests have the opportunity to capture their ultimate superhero moment at six Marvel-themed photo spots. These incredible spots include two impressive 3D displays: a towering 3-meter-high replica of Captain America’s Vibranium Shield and a magnificent 3.5-meter-high rendition of Thor’s mighty Mjolnir (hammer). Get ready to strike a pose and immortalize your superhero persona amidst the lush surroundings.
The other four interactive exhibits showcase beloved Marvel characters such as The Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, and Black Panther. Engage in a battle of strength as you measure yourself against The Incredible Hulk by delivering powerful punches on the strength meter. Step into the mystical world of Doctor Strange, where holographic fans simulate otherworldly threats that you must defend against. Strike a regal pose on the majestic throne at the Black Panther display, exuding the aura of Wakandan royalty. Lastly, have a fun encounter with Ant-Man and the Wasp as they shrink down in size, playfully appearing under a life-size magnifying glass. These interactive experiences ensure an unforgettable journey through the Marvel universe.
Avengers Forever @ Canopy Park. Epic storytelling of The Avengers through time
Avengers Forever @ Canopy Park commemorates six decades of the Avengers with captivating displays that unfold the enthralling history of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. This immersive exhibition intertwines the Avengers’ journey with significant events and iconic characters spanning the past 60 years. Explore legendary storylines like Contest of Champions, Secret Wars, and Infinity Gauntlet, while delving into epic conflicts involving X-Men, Defenders, and Eternals. The saga of the Avengers expands across the vast expanse of the universe and even beyond.
Through immersive installations, visitors are taken on a chronological tour of the Avengers’ remarkable timeline, starting from Captain America’s debut in 1941 to the formation of the Avengers in 1963. Marvel at rare artifacts, including a precious first-ever Avenger’s action figure from 1972, and catch glimpses of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon series on a dedicated television screen. Marvel enthusiasts can fully immerse themselves in the Avengers’ backstory, discovering fascinating details and engaging in an exciting exploration of Marvel history.
Within the enchanting Petal Garden, you’ll encounter life-sized exhibits showcasing beloved Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Prepare to be captivated by the presence of iconic characters like Ant-Man and The Wasp, Black Panther, Captain America, and Iron Man. These impressive displays create picture-perfect moments that are truly Instagram-worthy, offering an opportunity for memorable photos that shine both in daylight and under the stars.
Marvel-inspired Light & Sound Showcase
These iconic Avengers will also be featured in the stunning display of the Marvel-inspired Light & Sound showcase at the HSBC Rain Vortex. Catch your favourite Avengers as water projections on the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. The Light & Sound showcase will run from 26 May to 13 August 2023, 8pm on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and 8pm & 10pm on weekends (Fri-Sun).
Vote for your favourite Avenger
The fun extends digitally on visitors’ mobile devices. They can vote for their favourite Avenger by scanning the QR codes found on the information panels beside the installations. After scanning the code, visitors can snap photos or record videos with an Avengers-themed photo frame.
As a bonus, visitors who share these on their social media accounts, follow Jewel on Facebook and Instagram, and present a same-day receipt of S$100 nett (paid with Mastercard) at the Level 1 Jewel Concierge will receive a $5 tenant voucher. There will also be an additional perk for Changi Pay (Changi Airport’s e-wallet) users who can receive a S$2 Changi Pay eVoucher with a minimum nett spend of S$100 at Jewel.
Rewards on Capitastar app – 26 May to 30 July 2023
Jewel is the only mall in Singapore that offers double rewards to shoppers and diners for the same transaction through Changi Rewards and Capitastar. In collaboration with Capitastar app, visitors can collect six Avengers: Beyond Earth’s Mightiest at Jewel stamps on the app when they shop and dine at Jewel and earn bonus STAR$. When six tasks are completed, shoppers and diners can earn these stamps which entitle them to additional 25,000 STAR$ (equivalent to S$25). More details are available at Annex.
Special Edition The Avengers #1 with Custom Cover featuring Jewel
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Avengers, a special, limited print of The Avengers #1 (2023) featuring a custom cover of the Avengers against the backdrop of Jewel drawn by Singaporean artist Gary Choo will be available. More details about how the comic book can be won will be made available on Jewel’s social media channels.
Marvel merchandise available in Singapore at Jewel
Marvel fans will be able to shop at The Wonder Store at Jewel Basement 1 where they can look forward to gift-with-purchase promotions and at an Action City pop-up, located just next to the Concierge Counter at Level 2.
