The world’s leading auction house Christie’s proudly presents its Hong Kong Autumn Auction Highlights Preview, taking place at The Arts House at The Old Parliament, between 29 – 30 October (public preview), from 10.30am to 6pm.
Crowning the highlight preview is Christie’s debut showcase of Shen the T. rex; the first T. rex skeleton ever to be offered at an auction in Asia, which will be housed at Victoria Theater and Concert Hall for preview, offering a special opportunity for collectors and dinosaur fans in the Southeast Asia region to view and learn about this prehistoric icon.
Apart from the iconic relic, the dedicated preview will feature an array of museum-quality works from Christie’s 20th and 21st Century Art categories, including Southeast Asian art pieces of contemporary ink paintings, and rare masterpieces from across Christie’s Luxury categories, including jewellery, watches and handbags – all of which will be on show to the public at The Arts House At The Old Parliament making it a once-in-a-lifetime sight to look out for later this year.
