The refreshed Grand Menu features all-day brunch, hearty mains, mouth-watering pasta and beautifully charred hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas inspired by the sights, smells and tastes of chef’s globetrotting adventures.
We recently visited Earle Swensen’s at VivoCity where diners will be treated to newly rebranded concept with a fresh look including the refreshed Grand Menu and live band performances in partnership with Merry Bees every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Here’s the key highlights of some of the fabulous dishes on the Grand Menu as follows:
SEAFOOD CHOWDER WITH SOURDOUGH SLICE – ($13)
Tuck into the oceanic delight of boiled clams, halved mussels and chunks of tuber vegetables in a thick and creamy seafood broth.
THE KING (AGLIO OLIO) – ($15)
Enjoy the delightful pasta dish consisting of Al dente spaghetti tossed with fragrant garlic, chilli padi and flakes, garnished with parsley and finally crowned with a pair of succulent King Prawns.
THE GOLDEN BUN – ($19)
The Golden Bun (Parmesan Crisp Burger) is a new dish, a hearty snack inspired by the bustling streets of New York comprising of Monterey Jack sliced cheese, a tantalizing burger sauce, caramelized onions and sandwiched between sweet, fluffy brioche buns that are buttered and toasted on both sides.
In addition, look forward to a new selection of brioche burgers with a crisp, golden char, alongside the classic halal-certified, hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas with unique flavours from Roti John to Hazelnut Banana.
STEAK AU POIVRE at 200 gm – ($32)
This is a classic French steak, the tenderloin is crusted with coarsely cracked peppercorns, seared to succulent perfection and drizzled with creamy pan sauce.
S’MORES WAFFLE – ($12)
Delicious, freshly-made, thick and crispy waffles loaded with pillowy torched marshmallows, decadent chocolate cold fudge, crunchy digestive crumbs and luscious butterscotch that is hard to resist.
