Calling Manga fans! Attack on Titan: The Exhibition will be at ArtScience Museum from 19 February to 3 July 2022. The exhibition is based on the best-selling dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama.
Attack on Titan takes place in a world where the last humans are hiding behind walls to fight against mindless gigantic humanoids. The first iteration of Attack on Titan: The Exhibition was presented across Japan in 2014 and 2015. It has since been expanded to incorporate new artwork and content from the final chapters of the manga.
Visitors to the exhibition can look forward to explore and be immersed into Hajime Isayama’s visionary imagination, intricate worldbuilding and vivid characters. The presentation at ArtScience Museum marks the overseas debut of the exhibition in its latest form and is divided into ten general zones, featuring over 150 artworks from Hajime Isayama’s archives, showcasing new works alongside drafts and sketches from his archives, ranging from the manga’s earliest days to the present. The Exhibition serves as a culmination of his master storytelling and artistic vision over the past decade.
