Yakiniku-GO Opens 3rd Outlet at JEM, with Outlet-Exclusive Item Angus Striploin Steak and S$7.70 Opening Promotion

Yakiniku-GO, the first-ever yakiniku concept by RE&S Enterprises, is a quick service restaurant that serves high-quality meats at affordable prices has opened its third outlet in six months at JEM!

A paradise for meat lovers, Yakiniku-GO’s outlet at JEM marks the 77^th RE&S outlet in Singapore and to celebrate the launch, Yakiniku-GO will be holding an opening promotion: get the Yakiniku-GO Set (UP: S$15.80, 100g + 60g half steak), which boasts short plate, angus ribeye steak and beef tongue, at just S$7.70!

Angus Striploin Steak (S$13.80 for 120g ala carte/$15.80 for 120g set meal) is exclusive to JEM outlet. The striploin is one of the 3 prime cuts of beef; it is of a lean cut but boasts plenty of flavour. Best enjoyed medium rare, grill the steak for 2 minutes on each side and enjoy!

Yakiniku-GO’s menu offers both sets and à la carte offerings. Super value sets (comprising beef and chicken) and the karubi sets are priced affordably from S$9.80.

The Double Karubi Set ($15.80/100g), one of the crowd favourites consists of a mix of beef short plate and beef boneless short rib. The Wagyu Tokujou Karubi Set (S$26.80) comes with 100 grams of exquisite wagyu flap meat, which has superb marbling and is high in collagen. Each set comes with a bowl of fluffy Japanese rice, a choice of kimchi or mini salad, and clear seaweed soup. Finally, the special DIY Niku Sushi Set (S$6.80) lets you get creative and make your own sushi — just grill the meat, lay it atop the vinegared rice and wrap with seaweed! Garnish with kimchi, spring onion and sesame.

Beef lovers can look forward to enjoy succulent meats specially curated by its Japanese head chef. The selection includes the following:
• Gyutan (beef tongue): This delicacy has a rich, deep flavour yet it tastes surprisingly clean. The thickness of the beef tongue is determined after several rounds of R&D. It also undergoes a special processing step that ensures it has the optimal bite and texture after being grilled.
• Karubi: With its superb tenderness and juiciness, it is little wonder why the beef short plate is a favourite amongst yakiniku aficionados!
• Jyo karubi: The boneless short rib, with its exceptional marbling, requires just a few seconds for it to be cooked. Best paired with the restaurant’s thick sweet sauce, the House Special Yakiniku Tare.
• Ribeye: The ribeye has a strip of fat that runs through the middle, and this fat lends incredible depth of flavour.
• Angus ribeye steak: The angus beef is prized for its rich marbling. Watch gleefully as the whole slab of beef sizzles!
• Wagyu tokujou karubi: The wagyu flap meat is evenly marbled and has a perfect balance of fat and lean meat.

Other delicious offerings are also available like non-beef options such as Chicken, Lamb Leg, Seafood Hoiru Yaki (baked in foil) and Salmon Batayaki. Side dishes like crowd favourite, the Chawanmushi, four types of sauces to accompany your grilled meats consisting of House Special Yakiniku Tare, Spicy Yakiniku Tare, Miso Tare and Negi Shio Tare that made from recipes formulated in-house by its Japanese head chef and wide variety of takeaway bentos priced from S$9.80 nett that collectively features jyo karubi, gyutan and angus ribeye steak for you to enjoy.
