Singapore Contemporary 2016 held in Singapore, Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 21 – 24, 2016. Visitors can enjoy and admire vast displays of quality contemporary artwork and installations. These include original paintings, limited editions, sculpture and photography, and also video and digital art from some of the world’s most interesting and promising artists.
“The Dream Lady Series” by Yeo Chee Kiong. This is a female figure formed by the myriad and fleeting bubbles.
“Art Blossom” by Jang Seunghyo, is blend of numerous fragments of plastic and photographs, metamorphosed into a hybrid which represents Jang’s private memories and fantasies from his earlier life.
Interesting artwork from Khalifa Gallery. It is dedicated to presenting the most current and significant tendencies in both Korean and international contemporary art.
The exhibition showcase the latest in Chinese contemporary works from leading galleries in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The above artwork is “Tai Chi – Boundless” by Yu Nancheng.
There were programs arranged for children to participate and at Macey and Sons Kids Studio which is operated by Little Artists Art Studio, a fun place for children aged 3 to 11 years old to engage in supervised painting, drawing and other art projects.
Children were taught under experienced art teachers, who would teach children to create their unique artwork. Children could choose to display their completed artwork either at the venue or take their artwork home.
Macey and Sons Kids Art Tours conducted by Little Artists Art Studio where children can participate and learn more about the various artwork on display. This interesting and educational tours targeted at children from 5 to 11 years old.

It has been an educating and enriching experiences for us and we look forward to attend the next year event.
