{Event Listing and Swiss film, Little Mountain Boy (2015) Highlight}
The European Union Film Festival (EUFF), Singapore’s longest-running foreign film festival, will return from 10 to 22 May 2016 at Golden Village Suntec City.
Its 26th edition, with the Netherlands as the feature country, presents 30 films from 30 countries across Europe. The largest showcase yet, this year’s festival shines the spotlight on the opening film Admiral, a Dutch epic tale set in the 17th century.
This year, EUFF will showcase short films by students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film and Media Studies (FMS). Please go to the link to see all the featured student films that will be shown during the festival – http://www.euff.sg/school-partnership/
Look out for the Swiss film, Little Mountain Boy (2015) directed by Xavier Koller. It is based on the famous children’s book Schellen-Ursli (A Bell For Ursli). This movie is a classic beautiful, 1 hour and 40 minutes show of a courageous boy, Ursli, a real mountain boy who has a special gift for caring and understanding animals. He embarked on an adventure in winter to help retrieve his family’s most prized possession. You will be touched by the persistence and determination of this brave little boy!
