Winter Run Singapore 2016 – Experience Winter in the Summer and Giveaway!

On 26^th March 2016, introducing Winter Run Singapore 2016 which is a spin-off of the iconic UK Winter Run Series! Bring your family and friends to participate in this running event when you will breeze (or freeze) through a 5 kilometres route that boasts 3 different climatic zones. Starting off at the Big Splash (East Coast Park) and finishing off at Tanjong Rhu; Winter Run Singapore 2016 is set to be a fun-run packed with on-route activities for all.

Let’s look at the outline of this unique fun-filled winter theme running route from start to end point:

Start

Indulge in fun-filled activities such as ice dunking challenge, icy delights and soak up the winter experience. Mobile baggage is available (to facilitate the different start and end point of this fun run), and participants are encouraged to travel light to truly enjoy the three climatic zones. Welcome Crew (Mascot & Team) will be meeting and greeting participants at the Start Point. The flag-off will be staggered in 20 minutes interval to allow participants sufficient enjoyable time at each zones. Lined along the start pen, there will be Snow Blaster (Cyrojets) to kick start each wave.

Zone #1 : Seasons In The Fun

There is a chance that you might quite literally “slip” into this zone as you enter it on the bouncy slide! From clowns and jugglers to carnival games, there is something to keep everyone entertained right here in this zone.

Warning: You may want to escape the Awful Carollers as they attempt to get under your skin with their blaring renditions of random tunes.

Zone #2 : Let It Snow

You will know that you have entered the snow zone when you are greeted and welcomed with falling snow flurries. In this zone, you are transported into a land of snow-tipped alpine trees, snowmen, and chilly breeze.

For the runners who will jump at any photo-opportunity on-route; Winter Run has got you covered! Filled with wondrous photo opportunities and photobooths, there’s a memory for everybody to take home!

Zone #3 : Brave The Cold

For all you winter lovers, Winter Run Singapore is truly dedicating this one to you. Evoke all senses as you venture through an ice cave- what awaits you is a big mystery! Winter Run team hasn’t forgotten that you must be starving by this point so be sure to grab hold of the ice-cold tasty treats stalls before you make your way to the finish. If your wintry monster hasn’t been tackled enough, jump right into the ice bath, you are not leaving without a shiver down your spine!

End

Get fuzzy with Winter Run’s polar bear high-fives after crossing the finish line. Collect the uniquely designed icicle medal to bring back memories of spending winter in the summer!
