During this holiday seasons, where are the best places to have fun and spend a memorable and enjoyable time with your loved ones? Our Parenting World visited Trick Eye Museum, Singapore’s popular destination for locals and tourists situated at Resorts World Sentosa’s Waterfront.
Trick Eye Museum originates from Korea in 2010 and it is best known for using optical illusions to make images look realistically 3-D. It has a number of firsts in Singapore, one being Singapore, is its first overseas venture. It has quickly become one of the hottest must-visit attractions in Singapore!
Gor Gor: “Come Godma, let’s visit Trick Eye Museum.”
Godma Leanne: “Yay, yes, let’s go but … wait, oh no, someone is grabbing my leg!”
Join Our Parenting World Gor Gor, Di Di and Godma as we bring you into Trick Eye Museum and have loads of fun!
Another first, is a sculpture of a giant baby which is situated at the centre of the museum. This is the first time the giant baby exhibit is shown to the world.
Many visitors enjoy taking creative and funny pictures with the giant baby exhibit.
While taking pictures, we heard a series of giggling and look at what Di Di is doing?
Upon entering the museum, at the World of Masterpieces Alive Gallery where the giant baby exhibit is, there are many other exhibits from the renowned Western masterpieces that you can pose, touch, “interact” and even become the subject of the paintings.
Trick Eye Museum features 6 engaging and family based themes that will spark imagination and the love of art. The museum’s six interactive zones cover the themes of World of Masterpieces, Adventure Discovery, Safari Kingdom, Star of Circus, Love in Winter and Dreams of Fairy Tale.
Next we moved into Adventure Discovery section of the museum.
At this section, we can levitate, be part of an aquarium, we can dance, be a ballet dancer where men and boys are welcome to join.
Gor Gor and Di Di participating in a horse riding competition.
Another first at the Adventure Discovery section is a Merlion-themed exhibit to reflect Singapore’s city landscape and atmosphere.
At the Safari Kingdom, no place is safe in this virtual safari where you will attempt dare-devil sky diving, escape from a giant venomous Snake and Anglerfish, been locked in a Dinosaur prison and other dangerous situations. Riding on the dolphin and attempting to climb with the Panda on the bamboo might seem to be a safer option.
At the Star of Circus section, you will have the opportunity to be a shining Trick Eye Circus star!
Amaze your audience with many stunts like balancing on the ball, be a human cannonball, you can even do balancing act on a long pole and attempt levitation from the chair.
What’s more, you have the opportunity to participate in the Olympics as a Synchronized swimmer. That’s so cool!
At the Love in the Winter section, this is where you will experience winter in Singapore.
Let’s borrow a Witch’s broom and ride into Winter Wonderland.
Or you can ride in a Dog sled into Winter Wonderland instead …
Some other fun exhibits to pose around the venue.
Finally, we move on to Dreams of Fairy Tale and what can we see at this section. We simply can’t wait to start poising.
Take a scenic ride on a Swan boat.
Mr Wolf giving Di Di a ride on his hip motorcycle.
Spread out your angel’s wings and cycle in the air among the floating clouds.
Our lovely Godma as the Princess Mermaid.

Where are Godma and Gor Gor? What happened, someone please help them!

Some of our favourite World of Masterpieces include Magic Table and Ames Room where we spend time trying out different creative poses.
“What are we having for dinner?”
Look Godma, I am a GIANT!
Our Parenting World team would like to thank the lovely organisers and Trick Eye Museum for having us! We took hundreds of photos and had loads of fun poising and exercising our creativity juices coming up with different poses.
Some helpful tips to take note of when planning your visit to Trick Eye Museum:
1) Allocate more time to spend at the museum during your visit. Trick Eye Museum features a wide variety of oversized optical illusion paintings and installations, feel free to touch as it encourages visitors to explore and be interactive with the displays.
2) Wear comfortable shoes and attires.
3) Make sure your camera and or phone are fully charged and have lots of storage space to save your photos. We took hundreds of photos during our visit.
4) Not sure how to take the photos, no worries, there are useful guides on how to pose and look out for the “Photo Point” stickers on the floor, it will help to guide you on the right way to snap a photo.
5) Go during off peak hours, this was the queue we saw on a Sunday afternoon. It will take about 60 minutes to get in and that also shows how popular Trick Eye Museum is. It is best to go during the weekdays and for weekends during off peak hours like in the mornings when it opens at 10am and at 7pm ((Last Admission at 8pm).
Most importantly have lots of FUN at Trick Eye Museum!
