Our Parenting World attended the opening ceremony of The Kidz Academy 2013 which is the number 1 Children’s show in Singapore at Singapore Expo Hall 6A. It is a three days of engaging programmes and exciting activities for both parents and children. Admission is free!
It aims to focus on the holistic development of children by bringing together the best of education and enrichment providers under one-roof to provide first-hand information on the best courses and programmes from renowned exhibitors. As part of its 5th birthday celebrations, the Kidz Academy has lined up the largest amount of activities and entertainment in its history including:
• More than 25 Free education workshops and parenting talks
• ‘Live’ appearances by Bob the Builder, Finn & Jake and Despicable Me 2 characters.
• The World’s ‘Coolest” Birthday Bash with Favorite Superheroes
• Performances from junior musical bands and children’s fashion shows

I am at Rave Harps booth, this is the first time I get to play a harp, you like my music?
From the melodic harp, I move onto being a ROCK star at Olive Tree Music Booth. I am having a mini-concert with the help of the instructor besides me and the lady behind me is playing the drum together with me. Hey, I feel like a ROCK star !
Having fun at Nestle Milo Booth and I love drinking Milo. I drink that every day.
Besides having fun and parents if you need to find out what are the academic strengths and weakness of your child, you can send your child for assessment at the various education booths and the teacher will evaluate your child based on the assessment that he/she has done for his/her level. I am at Eye-Level Singapore booth working hard on my assessment papers.
I am going to learn Taekwondo at Hankuk Taekwondo booth which is a traditional Korean martial art. First I bow to my teacher before the lesson begins …

I am at the Singapore Space & Technology Association. I am so excited to know that I can learn about Space technology in Singapore.
