The Connoisseur Concerto (tcc), the leading chain of art boutique caffés in Singapore, honours Parents’ Day with five new seasonal offerings to celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in the months of May and June respectively. The new offerings will be available from 3 May until 30 June 2021.
Chilli Lamb Soup – S$12
The Chilli Lamb Soup has a slight spicy punch coming from the blend of chilli powder and paprika. The soup has a light and delicate consistency, filled with chunks of pan-seared mutton. You can enjoy this soup with a large piece of crispy garlic bread for added texture and taste. This aromatic soup is a great dish to start off the meal.
Warm Angel Hair Pasta with Smoked Duck Carpaccio – S$18
Topped with smoky flavour, thinly-sliced smoked duck carpaccio, this beautifully plated angel hair pasta is coated with a savoury warm onion dressing consisting of a unique blend of onion powder, spring onion, red pickled onion and sweet caramelised sweet white onions, drizzled with refreshing kyuri-carrot salsa that is made with ponzu for a nice citrusy taste.
Premium Steak & Frites – S$26
If you are a meat lover, you will enjoy this flavourful and juicy Premium Steak & Frites, the striploin is well-seasoned and grilled to perfection with golden-brown crust and spooned with a healthful, green peppercorn sauce, accompanied by crispy fries with Japanese chilli spices for an extra kick and fresh salad wafu dressing.
Both the mains can be upgraded to a two-course set, which is served together with the Chilli Lamb Soup, at S$26 for the Warm Angel Hair Pasta set and S$34 for the Premium Steaks & Frites set.

This Mother’s Day, two new seasonal beverages are offered: Iced Hibiscus Citrus Soda Tea (S$6.80) and Iced Butterfly Pea Spicy Mango Soda Tea (S$6.80). The drinks are absolutely Instagram-worthy with gorgeous concoctions of floral and fruity notes.
The Iced Hibiscus Citrus Soda Tea combines the refreshing notes of citrus hibiscus, lime fruit, mint leaves, mango, coconut water, soda, hibiscus tea and strawberries into one. The Iced Butterfly Pea Spicy Mango Soda Tea with captivating purple, is made with butterfly pea tea, cucumber, spicy mango, lime juice, soda and ginger beer, with added sliced mango as a refreshing contrast to the purple-hued beverage. Both concoctions are splendidly refreshing and make wonderful palate cleansers.
The new Parents’ Day offerings will be available at all of tcc’s art boutique caffés (except German Centre) from 3 May to 30 June 2021.
tcc’s 2021 menu – 25 new mainstays
tcc unveiled its 2021 menu on 19 February which offered an addition of 25 new mainstays: eight main courses, one dessert and 16 beverages, with locally-inspired gourmet curations as the highlights. A selection of gourmet dishes evokes nostalgia, bringing new twists to familiar heritage flavours. Others are imbued with a Japanese flair. The menu also keeps pace with evolving food trends, which are leaning towards the use of sustainable plant-based ingredients. All the offerings are a work of art, perfect for the precious Instagram shots.

New to the all-day brekkie in the menu is the Scrambled Egg & Salmon Pancake (S$15.50) consists of a lightly-toasted, truffle-infused pancake layered with Norwegian salmon, scrambled egg, wafu baby arugula salad and tobiko. This delightfully savoury dish would certainly capture the hearts of the young as well as the young at heart.
The delicious Steak & Egg Benedict (S$19.80) consists of petite wagyu hamburg steak, sautéed beef striploin, yellow peperonata and poached egg perched on English-muffin French toast, with a luscious yuzu-mustard hollandaise spooned over the tower of ingredients.
Look forward to the highlight of this year’s menu is the locally-inspired White Pepper & Soft-shell Crab Pasta (S$20.80). Bound to satiate the palates of Singaporeans, this dish features fried soft-shell crab on a bed of al dente spaghetti. The spicy white pepper sauce is moreish and addictive, reminiscent of the white pepper crab sauce that many Singaporeans grew up savouring.
Sakura Latte
Indulge in a wide variety of flavourful and stunning new beverages to pair your dishes with from cold brew specialities; milkshakes, blends, latte, sodas and shakes, to iced and hot tea. The Orange Cold Brew (S$7.80) is a new take on the tcc’s signature Cold Brew, with the fresh oranges offering a zesty twist. The Kaya Blend (S$8.50) is a fragrant concoction of salted caramel, pandan leaves and coconut water. Transporting you to Japan is the pretty-in-pink Sakura Latte (S$7.80), perfumed with a floral fragrance.
