Usher into the Year of the Pig at The Butcher’s Kitchen with specially curated Chinese New Year offerings including new items like pork yusheng, pork pastas and original chips.

Moving away from the usual fish-based yusheng, as this is the Year of the Pig, The Butcher’s Kitchen will feature pork as the marquee ingredient, presented in unique styles and with favourite familiar flavours. This Yusheng features 3 Treasures Porky Yusheng comprising of three key ingredients: golden roast pork belly, pork lard and char siew.

This is an auspicious dish, with char siew’s red char and the golden colours of lard and pork belly skin to represent luck and prosperity. Drizzle the yusheng with a unique blend of char siew and plum sauces giving a tangy, sweet and savoury flavour. Top up the yusheng with The Butcher’s Kitchen’s very own freshly made chips, the dish’s addictive version of the traditional golden crackers.

Pasta lovers will be delighted to know that The Butcher’s Kitchen has created two pasta dishes. They are Char Siew Pasta with Truffle and Mala Pasta with Roasted Pork Belly in celebration of the coming Year of the Pig.

Char Siew Pasta with Truffle

The Char Siew Pasta with Truffle comes with noodles tossed and infused with the restaurant’s homemade char siew sauce and fragrant pork lard. The pork lard is made from specific parts of the pig to attain its optimal flavour. The pork belly char siew is glazed with a sweet sauce that will melt-in-your-mouth as it has the perfect meat-to-fat ratio that will satisfy your taste buds. Lastly, finish off with a touch of truffle to further enhance the flavour of the dish.

Mala Pasta with Roasted Pork Belly

For those who enjoy spicy flavour like mala, you have to try this new Mala Pasta with Roasted Pork Belly. It comes with three levels of spiciness, the mala pasta is tossed with fresh cabbage, a key ingredient in mala stir-fry for that extra, invigorating crunch. The Butcher’s Kitchen’s signature sliced roast pork belly is perched on the bed of pasta, and the crunchy crackling is simply irresistible!

Enjoy snacking this Chinese New Year with The Butcher’s Kitchen newly launched Original Fresh Chips. The chips are all-natural, freshly made and highly addictive packed in aesthetic bottles that is perfect for gifts too. We were told that The Butcher’s Kitchen will be coming up with a total of three flavours including the original chips this Chinese New Year.
