Calling all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans!

This June school holidays, Downtown East has arranged a series of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy, first up is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dojo Experience which is held in collaboration between Downtown East and Nickelodeon. Downtown East has specially created the Dojo Experience, a secret training ground located in the underground sewers. Come and prove your mettle in four fun ‘tasks’ to earn your black belt.

Our Parenting World’s boys has heard the calling and rush down to Downtown East to step into the Turtles’ dojo to be trained in the art of Ninjas and join Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo to become full-fledged Ninjas.

Ninja 3

The boys began their training at the “Tag Team Ninja” station where they were required to solve a puzzle with their teammates. Through this activity, it enables children to learn teamwork and coordination.

Ninja 4

Next, the boys made their way through a tricky “Epic String Maze”. Through this training, they have to learn to avoid being caught by the electrically charged ‘wires’. This is important in their Ninja training to have flexibility and being light in their feet.

Ninja 5

Yay, they have succeeded in manoeuvring their way through the tricky maze. They are now closer to being a full-fledged Ninja.

Ninja 6

At the “Villains Takedown” stop, children get to pick their favourite Ninja turtle and learn to use it to take down the villain Shredder and his minions.

To complete their training, all Ninjas apprentices must be able to show their physical and mental prowess to take down their enemies. They have to be sharp and accurate in their shooting.

Ninja 8

Finally, after all the training, children will proceed to swing down a zipline and straight into the action as a full-fledged Ninja!

Ninja 2

We have completed all the training and are now a full-fledged Ninja together with our favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Children will be able to take part and gain exclusive passes into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dojo Experiences area and start their training with a minimal spending of $20 at Downtown East (or $40 for NTUC Fairprice spending). The first 150 ninja trainees daily will also receive one of the four coloured Turtles masks.
