About NTUC Income RUN 350, Organised by Young NTUC which was first held in 2010 at Pulau Ubin and saw 1,000 runners coming forward to run for the movement. By 2013, it grew more than 10 times to almost 12,000 runners expected to participate in 2015 edition. NTUC Income RUN 350, Organised by Young NTUC 2015 will take place on Sunday, 5 April 2015 at the F1 Pit Building. The movement aims to raise awareness to the need to lower atmospheric CO2 levels to 350 parts per million, which scientists believe is the level required for Earth’s sustainability.

Participants of the 2015 edition of NTUC Income RUN 350, Organised by Young NTUC will be seen running through the Kallang waterfront and past iconic landmarks such as the Sports Hub. The half-marathoners taking part in the 21.1km category will get to race along Nicoll Highway and head on to Gardens by the Bay before finishing off at the F1 Pit Building.  

NTUC Income RUN 350, Organised by Young NTUC will have three categories and these are the 21.1km and 10 km categories for the competitive runners and the highly popular 800m Kids Dash. The age group for the Kids Dash has been expanded to include children aged four to 12.

NTUC Income RUN 350, Organised by Young NTUC has prepared a series of Running Clinics and Training Sessions to help participants better prepare for the run. 

The first running clinic will take place on 7 February, 2015 (Saturday) at OMB, NTUC Building.

The two speakers for the first running clinic are Dr Derek Li and Melvin Wong.

Dr Derek Li, who has represented Singapore at the Macau Marathon in 2014,  will be sharing tapering strategies from both nutritional and training standpoints. In his talk, he will cover fat loading and carbohydrate loading principles, food choices, and how to estimate calorie requirements and how these should sync in with the tapering running schedule.

Melvin Wong, a data analyst by day and competitive runner by night, will also be there to give you insights on setting realistic targets for your runs, sharing how training sessions are moulded and how milestones are crafted to ensure you enjoy the success of balancing your racing, training, working, family and social commitments.
