Atrium Lounge at Marina Mandarin Singapore has newly launched Heritage High Tea featuring some of Singapore’s best culinary delicacies along with traditional tea-time favourites, these delectable treats are served on a three-tier stand and are available on weekends and public holidays.
You can enjoy your high tea in an elegant and cozy setting with streams of natural light permeating through the majestic 21-storey atrium.
This new high tea is infused with local touches and highlights include the Croque Monsieur, which sandwiches chicken bak kua and cheese between two slices of freshly-baked bread and topped with chicken floss. Another savoury delight is the Aromatic Wagyu Beef Puff, where crispy baked puff pastry is filled with tender wagyu beef cheek that has been stewed in masala curry.
The Singapore Chilli Crab is sure to please the palate with crab meat cooked with special house-made chilli paste, served with charcoal bun slices. Another crowd-pleaser is the Chicken Rendang, where glutinous rice envelopes the chicken rendang, braised with rempah, and wrapped with lotus leaves.
Those who prefer something sweet will certainly enjoy the Éclair, which comprises soft baked choux pastry filled with durian custard. In addition, freshly-baked raisin scones, along with pistachio butter, rosemary kaya and clotted cream are to be expected, along with Kueh Pie Tee with Boston lobster, as well as Fruit Rojak in mini cones. Ice Cream Bread is an excellent option for those looking for a chilled afternoon treat. The High Tea also comes complete with a choice of gourmet tea or coffee.
The Heritage High Tea is priced at $38++ per person (minimum of 2 persons), and is available at the Atrium Lounge on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 3pm to 5.30pm.
