Nestopia, a newly refurbished attraction featuring an integrated outdoor play area by Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa has opened since 1st February for families and children looking for exciting and fun-filled experience!

The 470 square metres is Sentosa Island’s only outdoor play area by the sea with 17 different play sections, consisting of two of the longest slides on the island measuring 10.5 metre and 15 metre, a thrilling 7.5-metre-high tube slide, three giant nests, netted obstacle courses and climbing structures that are guaranteed to keep your kids entertained for hours.

Nestopia is set in a spacious environment, offers a bird’s-eye view of the South China Sea and surrounded with natural landscape and lush greenery at Siloso Beach. The play space brings to life the story of a flock of legendary birds building homes with ropes, branches, leaves, and a touch of magic connecting three giant nests in this integrated-play area.

Children can embark on an adventure on the netted obstacle courses that connects the three giant nests. The netted obstacle courses and play equipment are suitable for both adults and children.

The slides are also connected by the three nests and our kids have so much fun sliding down the longest slides. They enjoyed climbing through the various obstacle courses, walking across the suspended bridges, tackling the mazes and their favourite is the slides. All these help to develop and enhance children’s motor skills, build up their strength and their ability to balance, create spatial awareness and improve their problem-solving skills.

If you are feeling tired from all the playing and climbing, take a break, relax and chill out at the  shaded wooden teepees.

Nestopia is suitable for children aged 5 and above, parents can relax with a peace of mind as their kids can have fun at the outdoor playground led by the Nestopia team. Nestopia is located next to the casual Italian eatery, Trapizza, to read about our review on Trapizza, please visit http://ourparentingworld.com/trapizza-family-friendly-italian-restaurant-along-siloso-beach/

We visited Nestopia when there is no haze, looking at the current haze situation, please do check the health advisory, air quality forecast, 1-hr PM2.5 and daily PSI readings to plan your schedule if you would like to visit and embark on outdoor activities.
