What better way to get together and have a fun time with family and friends is to play Monopoly! 

Our Parenting World is pleased to announce that in celebration of the MONOPOLY brand’s 80th anniversary, Hasbro Inc. has teamed up with social news and entertainment company, BuzzFeed, to ask fans to vote for cities around the world. These will then be featured as property spaces in the new MONOPOLY HERE & NOW: World Edition game which launches this fall.

Immortalise Singapore in perhaps the most popular family game, by voting for the Lion City today! With only the top 22 countries being featured on the MONOPOLY HERE & NOW: World Edition board, competition will be fierce and we need the help of every Singaporean to secure Singapore’s spot among the featured property spaces!

    board games is one of the best ways to encourage family bonding and even during my childhood i will eagerly anticipate for such times whereby me and my brother can play board games with our parents. now as a parent i also wish for my kids to indulge in board games and one of my favourite was monopoly. the concept of having lots of money to buy thing is very interesting for kids

Great bonding activity that can teach them concept of money as well as teaching them $calculation, best of all.. I like to teach thru games n Monopoly teaches them alot including winning & losing is nt a big issue, we just take turn although strategies does help sometimes.. Daddy always e banker n gives advices when required. Hope to win this set.. means alot to me!♡♡♡

    • Monopoly is one of the games which help gain knowledge and be smart 😉 Did you know that Monopoly is actually a game based on Atlantic City and that it’s first version was sold for as low as $2? Haha! Looking forward to playing this version too.

    Monopoly not only creates dream for me and my children but also teaches us decision making. I get to pretend play and enjoy being a entrepreneur with a loaded bank account. I can be a millionaire and love the thrill of calling the shot to build hotels after hotels. Monopoly is not mono at all as it is a great bonding game for the young and old. I’ll have hours of fun with my children in every game. It’ll be great if we can win a set of the MONOPOLY 80th Anniversary Edition to have more fun running in our family in this one of the longest running board games around!
