A baby’s skin is very delicate and it is important to take good care of your baby’s skin by using the right products. Introducing the new Baby Dove range of baby care products that provides gentle, moisturising care for your babies. Its top to toe range of bath and moisturising essentials is made of prebiotic moisture and 1⁄4 moisturising cream that helps to protect and moisturise the baby’s skin’s for a balanced microbiome.

Why is it crucial to protect our baby’s skin? The reason being a baby’s skin loses moisture 5 times faster than adults and is about 30% thinner, making their delicate skin more prone to allergies and rashes that will cause a lot of discomfort to the affected babies. While skin has its own natural and intelligent way of keeping it healthy known as the Microbiome, it helps to keep the baby’s skin healthy and protect it from harmful bacteria, produces essential nutrients, enzymes, and lipids for baby skin’s function. However every baby is unique and the amount of microbiome present is also different and influenced by various factors such as the products used on the baby’s skin and the environment.

Many of us are familiar with Dove, it has 60 years of heritage in producing products that brings moisture, mildness and care to our skin. It has introduced the new Baby Dove range of superior baby care products that go beyond mildness to help replenish essential moisture and nutrients in baby’s skin. In addition to Dove’s iconic ¼ moisturising cream, Baby Dove products are formulated with Prebiotic Moisture – prebiotics nourish the ‘good microorganism’ in your baby’s skin microbiome, helping to promote healthy and resilient skin. Baby Dove range is safe, gentle and is suitable for newborns and eczema prone skin.
